We all came out to Hanna (with apologies to Deep Purple)
Near the Red Deer River shoreline
To take photos with our cameras, yeah
We didn't have much time now

The roundhouse society volunteers
Were at the neatest place around
But some stupid with a cigarette butt
Burned the forest to the ground

Smoke on the prairies, orange glow in the sky
Smoke on the prairies, you guys are great

They burned down the Rockies forests
It burned with an awful heat
Firefighters were running in and out
They were working their hearts out

When the roundhouse doors were opened
Blackened from another age
Memories were running out
It seemed that we could still see the engines

Stettler campground, a comfortable spot - but with all this space, could we not have a few more feet between campsites. We backed into ours, the bike rack is sharing space with a spruce tree between us and the RV behind us.

So, how close are parked in our Rv spots - When I asked Lee to pass the sugar, the neighbour asked - one lump or two
When I sneezed, the neighbour said - bless you
The neighbour's snoring woke me up
I hummed a tune while stitting on the potty and the neighbour sang along
I made us popcorn and neibhbours lined up with their bowls.
