Delia has neat street art.

We stopped in Delia because it has an elevator. What surprised us was the collection of street art. There are murals, items made from old tires and even the old repair shop with part of a car attached to the door. And the elevator, at least the main part and the metal annexes, is still in use.

The structures from days gone by are somewhat haunting as they are left standing and the weather elements are wearing them down. The space they take up are not being repurposed, and the solid structures add a ghostly quality to the towns that are becoming an abandoned remembrance of the once thriving communities. Then, as you walk around an old shop or two and there are huge paintings on the building, depcting life in an earlier era.
