Piles of fabric squares.

Some people might be shocked at the volume of fabric that Lez has in her craft room in the apartment. Not Lee. It's been that way in every place we have lived for the last forty years.

Including the Schooner on our Roads Less Gravelled adventure. Quilting does not stop for anything Lee has learned.

My fingers are blue! Yes, after a short drive, we headed out along the walking path that led to the 'berry nice' shrubs that lined the path. Our buckets were combined after a good pick and we came home with a healhy helping of the Saskatoon berries. That will probably be our last picking adventure of the season.

My desk is covered in 3 inch squares of fabric that fill a box that has travelled with us since we left the 189th St. house. This will be one of the quilts that will be enjoyed while snuggled in a comfy wingback chair as we watch our evening movie or two. The squares were part of a quilt squares exchange with quilters from across North America, and a few from Europe as the world crossed over from the 1900's to 2000's.
