The best team in the league.

Lee notes that you can tell when the weather warms up a bit because Hobbes wanders further than the bottom step.
Alec worked with Lee to take the first steps towards moving our website to Alec's ISP server. Lee loaded up some Roads Less Gravelled web pages to the test site and, presto, it was available to the internet. Way to go, Alec!
We listened to the Generals road game in Campbell River on 88.5 The Beach radio. They have the best play-by-play announcer in the VIJHL. And, as expected, the Generals won their 18th game in a row. And with that, they have clinched the league championship even though there are a number of weeks left in the season.
Today was quite a mixed day. Lee wandered up to Thrifty's and I did some basic cleanup around the RV. We then set up the lawn chairs out back of the RV and enjoyed the sun and another cup of coffee. The Canada Geese provided entertainment as they honked at each other and the males were vying for attention from the ladies. The sun felt very good and the RV provided a good wind break. , We saw a trio of geese on final, as they barely cleared the roof of the Schooner and making a splash landing in the estuary.
Lee cooked up a favourite pasta and chicken dish for dinner, the creamy shallots and onion pasta sauce is just the right touch.
Later in the day I spent time on several computer mind exercising games, and enjoyed the live radio broadcast of the Generals game. The team is now in first place in their league. I'm looking forward to the next game to cheer them on live.
