A great dinner with friends.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

We had a wonderful time with the Longmores at Kalvas this evening. Lots of stories; we promised to do it again soon.

The long lens came in handy as I captured a few photos of the deer crossing the estuary.

Tonight we joined Chris and Bob at Kalvas - one of the fine dining restaurants in Parksville. Chris and I have been enjoying Wednesday coffee mornings for most of the time we had been docked at Surfside. Lee and Bob had not yet met - but that didn't stop the continuous conversation all evening. Bob is a military veteran. He acknowledged his dad who served in BOTH World War I and World War II.

We will do our best to have another dinner before we wonder further on our travels later this spring.
