The weather deteriorates.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
As forecasted, we started with a little cloud and sunshine and deteriorated to a southerly rain storm by mid-afternoon. Strong winds shook the Schooner as the rain pelted the back window. Lez came home from her sew day in Qualicum just in time to unload Chuck without getting completely drenched with rain.
Ahh - what a great Sew Day! Quilters from the PQGQH, the Parksville Quilt House Quilt Guild, gathered in Qualicum Beach for a day of sewing, chatting with other quilters, sharing stories, providing each other with items forgotten at home, ideas from all the various projects brought along to work on for the day. Some projects actually were finished. I didn't complete a project but made great progress on a UFO - one of those UnFinished Objects from days back in the big house and quilt Sew Days with the Edmonton girlfriends. If I don't put it away, maybe I'll get it done this year! OH, it's already December 9. Hmmmm.
Yes, I made it home just in time to get in and stay dry! Windshield wipers were working hard. As we are typing our notes now, the Schooner is truly rocking as if on the high seas! Hobbes is not even asking to go out.
Glad we don't have a hockey game to go to tonight.
