Harmonium and high tide.

Lee notes that the work done last year to restore parts of the estuary are seeing results. First, a larger portion now floods at high tide which makes the local birds happy. Second, the salmon have started to enter this part of the estuary, presumably to spawn. And along with them has come the seals and otters. A very nice backyard we have here.

The expanse of the high tide was amazing. So much land underwater. Even the big root ball appears to have shifted a little. A gloomy day, so we stayed hunkered down in the RV, and I attacked the photos from the retreat. Wow - these will put a smile on my face for a long time. Looking forward to being able to attend the retreat again in January.
