Too cold to work outside.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Lee notes that Lez has the right idea. Work on the mid-arm beside a nice cozy fireplace. Lee decides to work outside on some outstanding issues. Nope. The fingers are cold in the windy +5c weather. Time to go inside.
Lez says: Valances. We don't need no stinkin' valances. (You have to be a "spaghetti western" movie buff to understand.) LOL. Besides, this will save Lee a lot of time and money building new valances. Instead, the curtains will go right up on the rod, with a top band of the colourful fabric that we were going to use to cover the new foam and fabric covered wood valances. This will also keep a fair bit of weight off the unit, as there are 10 valances we are eliminating.
But firster - as I like to note, there is some quilting to complete before I get into making those curtains. Lee will just have to put up with fan fold curtains that go up on strings for a little longer. I have one quilt to finish before it's curtain time.
