Black-tailed Deer in our Back Yard.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Lee thinks it must be spring because he walked to Thrify Foods and back with only his hoodie on. It feels pretty good.
Late in the afternoon, we decided to go to the Sea Wall for a walk and a peek. Our neighbour Ron was sitting quietly by his firepit and we soon knew why. There were four black-tailed deer between the row of RVs and the water. One of the little ones was munching on the new growth oblivious to Lee taking pictures about two meters away. They are so cute and so dainty.
Lez notes: Chores still must be done - it's laundry day. With a minimum time of an hour and a half to monitor the laundry, I took along my sewing machine and the fabrics for the quilt I started on the 8th.
More pictures of the Black Tailed Deer, as they wandered past our RV's, keeping their distance from us, but not running away. We kept Hobbes inside.
The weather was warm, and was enjoyed; the sun shining brightly. A walk to the seawall caught a striking sunset that reminded one of the RV-ers who was also admiring the super low tide, noted the water, mountains and pink clouds remind her of her homeland of Northumberland in England and the coast of Scotland nearby.
