Lee observes that Lez's passion for quilting has shown him all the various places that quilts show up. In movies of course, in fundraisers, hanging in university buildings and now, a winery in Napa called the Quilt and Company winery that boasts their products come from the fabric of the land. Where will it end, he grins.

We ended the day watching the Oil Kings beat up on the Swift Current Broncos 7-0. The Kings, plus the Oceanside Generals (7 wins in a row, including 8-1 and 8-0) and even the Oilers pasted the Habs. Looking good.

Lez is quite excited! A wine called 2018 Napa Valley QUILT Fabric Of The Land Red Wine. What a perfect pairing! As I am drooling over the story of the winery, Lee is quiety ordering 3 bottles for us. Yes I'm blatantly promoting the Napa Valley QUILT winery LOL. " For our Napa Valley Quilt Red Wine, we work with grapes representing the diversity of varietals cultivated in the Napa Valley AVA". We have yet to taste it and will share our tasting notes.

Hmmm, flying over the Saskatchewan prairie also resembles a quilt - I think "Prairie QUILT Red Fife Flour" would be a marketable commodity. Well why not since the Napa Valley Quilt Red Wines are a saleable local product.
