Lee says: well actually we decided to see if we could go the whole day without opening the door. It was blowing and raining first thing and even though the sun came out in the afternoon (for a few minutes) we resisted. Even Hobbes didn't put up much of a fuss; I think he could sense the weather.

We passed part of the afternoon watching the Oil Kings lay another beating on a helpless team, this time 6-0 over the Lethbridge Hurricanes. And we worked for hours trying to solve today's Wordle challenge. It ended up being such a simple word (WRUNG) that we could not understand why it took so long.

Lez has hunkered down: Quilt patterns design day. Working with the Electric Quilt software, ideas are flowing for a small challenge quilt from one of the fabric manufacturers. This led to more Hug Blocks ideas for this new year. Listening to the wind and rain. Our row of the row of small cedars offered some sparkle photos as the sun broke through the clouds later in the afternoon.

The hockey game in the background was a great distraction - but it was a great game to catch.
