Blinded by the cord.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Lee says: re-stringing RV blinds (with special venetian cord) is not much fun, especially if you have any degree of arthritis in your fingers. However, patience is the key. He got the largest blind in the RV, the back window, all re-strung and ready to re-hang.
Lez enjoys the warmth sun! Yes - there was sunshine today along with a very calm start to the day. Hobbes wandered out a few times - not on his own, but followed closely by his body guards - although he may not agree with that term. At Theresa's place he got treats! Well - he sure beat it down that route the next time he went out. He had a few outings, as did we! Then Lee got working on the large window blind at the back of the RV. It needed re-stringing. Quite a chore. We moved everything out of the way, pulling the table away from the wall and windows and piling items on the kitchen table and our bed for the day. I set up the mid-arm quilting machine and quilted the tree skirt. The main floor of the RV looked quite, um, topsy turvy. But we got our respective tasks done.
Dinner at mom's - delicious as always - today mashed potatoes, veggies and sirloin tip cubes so tender as they had stewed in a tasty broth all afternoon. Ralph worked up an appetite too, as he had checked out his boat - on his own. Took advantage of the high tide to be able to walk the ramp from road to boat.
