A fondue after a long time.

Lee worked on two of the blinds today, re-stringing and hanging them. We now have privacy from the estuary side again, although the only onlookers on that side are black-tailed deer, Canada geese and ducks.
We had a nice video family dinner tonight, with the four kids gathered at Mimi and Alec's place. It was so nice to see them again and to see that all are well and happy.
Lez notes: A quiet Remembrance Day. There were however, lots of social media postings of our veterans receiving a Quilt of Valour and many posts of remembering family and friends who were lost during the various military actions Canada has been involved in. So much to be thankful for in this country.
I pulled out a quilting project - a UFO - an UnFinished Object - aka a quilt that started many years ago and was never finished. There are challenges and contests to see who has the most UFO's or who has finished the most in a certain time frame. Many quilterst take up the challenge - but when I determined I have over 30, I just grab one and do my best to get it done before another more interesting challenge or distraction comes along. This is a Christmas tree skirt - so the project has a chance to see one UFO knocked off the list. List What list!
The real challenge of the day - working around not having the big back table to work on - the large back window blind requires the whole top of that table in order to get the blinds re-strung.
