Does it ever stop raining here.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

Our first full day at Surfside is also our first full day ensconced in the Schooner as the rain continues to fall all day long. Lee has a suspicion that the fierce rain last night might have blown some water into the wall via the rear tail light. It will get looked at when the rain stops.

Lez thought there was a second estuary where the road is. There is so much water on the road, it spilled over the side and really looked like a branch of the estuary. Now that the rain has stopped, we can once again see that it is a road. What a grey day!

I spent time going through a couple of totes and bags of quilt fabric. A couple of projects will now be attacked with the aim of completing them, quilting them on my mid-arm quilting machine. It is a challenge to make a larger quilt, but it can be done with patience. Fortunately I have a nice large work table with the view out the back window. Love it.
