Snug and cozy, and hockey too.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
The rain continued, but held off in the late afternoon, with even a few sunny breaks.
Lez continues with re-org of the sewing supplies. The rain kept us inside for the day, we have lots of "stuff" we can do - including the photo edits and this blog and making French Canadian Split Pea Soup - in the Instant Pot. I am used to using the slow cooker, soaking and cooking the split yellow peas overnight, along with the leftover ham bones from a family gathering. Well, put the ham bones (with bits of meat attached), the peas, a few herbs and spices - and in less than an hour we had the best split pea soup ever! So much for roughing it in the RV. We went for a walk after dinner, the rain had stopped, the wind had stopped - yes it was very dark, but a full moon followed along lighting the road.
