One last time in Ucluelet.
Bella Pacifica RV Park, Tofino BC (1 star)
Lee thinks that Ucluelet is a much nicer place than Tofino. It is a little bigger and has better shopping options than Tofino. It is also very quiet compared to the bustling surfing town of Tofino.
We went back to the Amphitrite Point Lighthouse to get a look at the surf at high tide. It did not disappoint.
This section of the west coast is known as the Graveyard of the Pacific. If we drained the sea close to shore here we might be surprised at how many shipwrecks we would see.
The very peaceful Ucluelet is a district municipality on the Ucluelet Peninsula, on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. We drove out to the lighthouse we had seen a few days earlier at low tide and now enjoyed the same views at high tide.
There is a good chance this will be our last visit out here.
We tooks lots of photos - wanting to get the right one to show the power of the waves, the height of the waves and waterscape that is uninterrupted until Japan. The rock formations are volcanic aka very old, black and hard. A fascinating landscape - that defines wild.
Another evening ending in more Mission Impossible movies.
