Just a little down time.

Bella Pacifica RV Park, Tofino BC (1 star)

Lee saw this day as a time for the two of us to enjoy a little down time. It was incredibly quiet in the campground, interrupted only a few times by an RV coming or going.

There was also nothing much remarkable on the MacKenzie Beach today. There were few people, other than some kayakers and a few dogs playing in the surf.

A very laid back kind of day. A walk on the beach, Hobbes heads for the campsite as soon as we let him walk on the beach (with his harness on). The sand is very fine and packed. People ride their bicycles on the beach - without sinking in at all.

We ended our evening watching a Mission Impossible movie.

Hobbes is sleeping more and more, eating less too. I think he misses the ability to just walk out the door and check the neighbourhood. Not possible out here though and he only goes out wearing his harness and leash and attached to mom or dad. If he wandered into the bushes that surround our campsites, we would never find him.

Our neighbours all know Hobbes too, or know us as the people with the big yellow cat. Some people are surprised to see him on a leash, and others have comments about walking their cats.
