Cleaning out the pine needles.
Bella Pacifica RV Park, Tofino BC (1 star)
Lee decided that he should clean the tops of the slides before we slide them in tomorrow. Too often, we have had pine needles, leaves and dirt stay on top once the slides come in. And then, the stuff is free to blow around the inside of the Schooner.
Surprisingly, the slides were quite clean.
While the rain abated, Lee and Lez took some time to decide how we will position Chuck tomorrow in order to pull the Schooner out of this narrow site. There may be some forthing and backing. Stay tuned.
Overcast skies, very little wind. Doing some chores and checking over the Schooner to ensure the slides will be able to come back in without bringing in debris from the pine trees and other leaves that may be blown about. Hard to believe we have been here just over two weeks.
Heading to Parksville for more adventures, including a birthday party for Mom. Looking forward to seeing the Worel clan again.
Tonight the Man is cooking his signature pasta dish - with shallots, onion, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes (and some of it's oil thrown in too). This is being paired with a Tinhorn Creek 2022 Pinot Gris, a BC VQA Okanagan Vallley wine order recently delivered to us in Tofino. We will eat like royalty tonight.
