Watching wild waves.

Bella Pacifica RV Park, Tofino BC (1 star)

We drove into Ucluelet, Ukee to the locals, to see the old lighthouse. It is situated right against some amazing rock formations that are constantly being pounded by the ocean waves We watched as the tide was rising with constant splashes into the air. Amazing views.

When we got back to the campground a motorhome parked in the site next to us. To describe the lack of space and narrow sites, take a look at the photos. This is what you get for 70 bucks.

Well, the sun truly made a good appearance today - we were beginning to wonder if it ever shone out here. Blue skies - horizon to horizon and made for some spectacular photographs around Amphitrite Point Lighthouse.

With the spring like weather, we were able to set up the BBQ for steak and foil wrapped veggies. Oh, and beer.

After dinner we wandered to the beach and WOW - there were easily 100 people strolling, in the water and on the sand, sitting around firepits, one flying a drone. We have never seen this beach so busy. We suspect a busy weekend is coming.
