Hobbes views his purrfect world.
Plamondon Whitesands Resort (2 stars)
Lee notes that Hobbes has had his share of outside time today. First, it was at the old site. Then, he was out some more as we were hooking up. Then he travelled down to the new site with Lez (except he chose to be carried). Then he was out a couple more times around the new site.
What is nice about him is that generally when he had had enough, he walks to the Schooner, climbs the first step, waits for one of us to remove his harness, and then goes inside. What a guy!
Lez notes: This is the shortest move we have made. The site we had is booked for the long weekend already, so we tethered up and crossed the road down a few sites. Lots of shade here too, and all the facilities so should it get warmer as the day goes on, we will be able to turn on the A/C. Hobbes is getting "comfortable" on site, and is starting to wander away. We have to be diligent when he is outside with us. (He does not go outside without us).
Ahhh, the crackle of a fire pit. We enjoyed our evening coffee, "doctored" of course, and sat with skies not completely dark at 11 pm.
The fire bans here have been lifted, there has been rain, and it is very green in the region.
