Back in Alberta.

Map - Meadow Lake to Cold Lake

Runway RV, Cold Lake (2 stars)

Even though there was still a sizable wind from the west, we headed west for Cold Lake. Other than gas mileage, the run was uneventful.

After about two months, we were back in Alberta. Gas prices dropped about three to five cents. Welcome back.

Lez is thankful we decided to wait out one day of travel. How strong were those winds Well, our hosts at the RV park had a section of the roof of one of their storage buildings rip off. No one hurt, but it will need to be re-done. Fortunately no rain came with that wind.

We took it easy for most of the day, catching up on photos and correspondence. Hobbes seemed to enjoy wandering around the area, harnessed, of course, but curious to sniff the air and then do his Sphinx pose and watch the world go by.
