Lazing by the RV.

Katepwa RV Park (2 stars)

Lee decided to take some photos from a hillside above the RV park. Great views up and down Lake Katepwa in the Qu'Appelle valley.

A bit further down the road is a community called Who Calls Beach. Interestingly, all three names refer to the same thing, with Qu'Appelle being Who Calls in French and Katepwa being Who Calls in Cree.

Piet and Marg stopped by for a bit before they left for Regina. Plans made to see each other somewhere in the next year since we will be nowhere near Regina next year, if plans unfold as planned.

Lez catches up with photos: It is a constant task with the best rewards - reviewing the myriad of sights - people, places, plants, pets. As Piet and Marg head back to Regina for the week, they stopped by and we continued more conversations which led to Lee's note about connecting with them - which could be later this summer in Sask and next winter out on Vancouver Island.

I also made a batch of spiced pita chips, reminders of a delicious snack from our time with friends in Ladysmith on Vancouver Island.
