Happy birthday, kiddo.

Lee noted it was poopie weather as we broke camp, but it didn't matter because we were leaving. On to Regina and Katepwa.
Boy, this is Lee's second or third or fourth time in a row to bitch and complain about Saskatchewan roads, cell service, and parking lots. Hopefully, the last complaint for a while, but, we stopped at the Superstore in east Regina for supplies. Their parking lot is designed for golf carts! Try as Lee might to get to the back of the lot and avoid the tight corners, it was just impossible. Twice over a curb with the Schooner wheels. The curbs were also high enough that the Schooner rocked to one side and the front bottom leading edge was damaged by Chuck's truck box. Oh well, more repairs over the next few days.
He got out of town, headed to Katepwa via Indian Head and settled in for an evening of fun, food and laughter with his brother and wife, and of course his lovely birthday lady, Lez. Happy birthday, kiddo!
Lez smiles: A VERY big smile. So many birthday greetings, it was wonderful to connect with our friends truly world wide. Weather-wise it was the greyest of grey days and most rain we've had for quite some time. Good for moving on to a new location and not sight-seeing. We are docked at Katepwa where we visited Piet and Marg (Zwaal) last evening. We cooked up a quick Instant Pot of ribs and Marg and Piet crisped them up on their BBQ. Veggies, wine and a SUPER blueberry crisp/ice cream dessert rounded out dinner. We then spent a nice long evening of catchup chatter and laughter. Mario-Pieter-Andretti drove us home in the golf cart. Tomorrow we will walk over with Hobbes - there are squirrels and birds and rustling shrubs to explore.
