We got up to a blustery day, had breakfast, decided not to go into Moose Jaw and prepared to make RV site reservations for the next few days. Sending a request through the mail was out, so was the Pony Express, so we decided to use either a computer or a cell phone. Uh-huh! For that you need cell service, and that is not very reliable at Buffalo Pound. Lee knew something was up last night when some RVers further down the road were all walking around the area holding a hand in the air. They were looking for cell service, without much luck.
A quick trip to the top of the valley fixed that. RV site arranged for the next few days.
Lez comments on the weather: Tunder and lightnin! And marble sized hail - what a noise that makes on the RV. it is only 5 pm and the lights are needed inside.
Managed to get in a wee walk earlier to get some photos of the area. The ground of the hills is very dry, with a plant-scrunch as you walk. It is dry. Well, now it was dry. The rain has fixed that! Cell service still not strong enough for consistent Facebooking, so time to edit the photos of the day, so we can keep ya'll up to date with the travelling zwaalburys.
