We headed out for our thirtieth VQA VQA run today, visiting four wineries that we have dealt with for decades, Moon Curser, Tinhorn Creek, Fairview Cellars and Wild Goose. A nice supply of wine that will last us way too short a time.
The Fairview Cellars' Two Hoots was enjoyed at supper with a cheese fondue and a video conference with mom and Alec.
Lez laughs: Another "drive by drive through exchange"! This time some wine was transferred as that winery isn't open on Sundays. Prior arrangements were made and we started our 30th VQA wine run in a local parking lot.
Visits were short at the wineries, but they were all ready with our ordered cases. As we travelled the region, we noticed a lot of new wineries have started up. We also met up with a Manitoba couple doing the exact same kind of travel we are doing - and loving it too.
Tonight catching up on the blog and ready to hit the road again in the morning. It was SO great to be able to add mom to family dinner tonight. Love these good new days - no harking back to the "old days".
