Going home. Not so fast.

Marlin and Karin's house, Kona-Kailua HI (2 stars)

Lee went to Lowe's this morning and saw yet another cruise ship in the bay, different than the one from last night. Back at Karin's place, Lee took Luna for a walk.

We lazed away the last day in Hawaii and were just listening to the supper time news when they announced that the Kona airport had been closed indefinitely. What! We monitored on the internet for updates but none were coming. Strangely though, Westjet had already put us on a flight tomorrow. We let it go for the night.

This is our last day with Karin and Marlin, another clear blue sky and no wind day. The word Paradise keeps coming into the conversation.

We poked into the weather situation back in Parksville, and seeing that we will be comfy when we get back to Canada. But first - time for a bite. I spent a good portion of the day between hot tub and the inside A/C. I picked up a book "Prince Harry - Spare". Written by the prince. Quite the insight into the world of the British Royals.
