Birthday sister.

Marlin and Karin's house, Kona-Kailua HI (2 stars)

We drove up to Mauna Lani resort to do some shopping and enjoy the ocean views. There are petroglyphs in the area which we photographed.

We had lunch at Tommy Bahama to celebrate Karin's birthday.

On the way home we noticed another cruise ship in the Kailua Bay.

Hawaiian shopping was kept to a minimum, tempting as it was. (yes, I bought fabric).

We enjoyed a very long, slow, delicious lunch with conversation that was non stop. The restaurant is sheltered outdoor, as so many are.
