It looked like a garage sale.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

Today, after yesterday's water issue, was time to review, re-sort, re-store and re-pack what we call the basement and the garage in the Schooner. It went well, with Lez doing some fabric re-organizing while Lee did the outside work.

With another nice day outside, we BBQ'd and had a great dinner washed down with a Cedar Creek Chardonnay.

Lez moans: What did we start! OK, as we clean up the various boxes to truly clean out the "basement", our yard truly did look like a garage sale. We had purchased some new clear-sided totes (oh so important!) yesterday, with this re-org in mind. We have been storing, moving, adding to items in the garage pass-through for a year now - and have a really good idea what is needed in there and what needs to be more accessible than other items. Very little was actually taken to the garbage. My batting pieces that didn't get wet in cardboard boxes are now in plastic totes too. Various groupings of fabrics are now in one tote - and all is accessible under the sewing table for the upcoming projects. Room was cleared out of the closets too, some items now in totes (seasonal), and some will go to Goodwill. A very refreshing day and we didn't even wait until the day before leaving to organize! WHEW!
