He glazed over like a doughnut.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

Lee took Hobbes out after breakfast. The temperature obviously agreed with him. He wandered through the undergrowth and climbed over logs. When Lee told him they should go inside, Hobbes laid down instead.

We went for groceries and Lee took Hobbes out again after we returned. This time he pulled his other favourite trick - wander far enough and then meow as if to say 'Carry me back please'. Of course Lee does just that.

We had a great family dinner with seven of us, virtually of course. Lez is still laughing over Aaron's description of the engine additive salesman who came to Norden last week. As only Aaron can tell it.

Lez quips: As Aaron noted a reaction to a salesman receiving his cryptic correction "His eyes glazed over like a doughnut!". Where does our son come up with these things! I laughed so hard! We had another great story telling and sharing week's adventures over a virtual Sunday family dinner with family in Edmonton.

Earlier in the afternoon, I went to mom's with some quilts and met with one of her quilting neighbours. We shared a lot of quilting and life's adventures as we shared our sewing techniques.

I spent most of the designing and working on a quilted wall hanging I will be able to share soon - but not yet LOL.
