The storm pond behind Mimi and Alec's new house has only recently been built. It did a great job during our spring 2026 rainstorms. At one point it was nearly three quarters full.
Recently, the developers have been grooming the sides and adding top soil in preparation for planting trees and grass. It may take awhile, but it will be great when it has matured.
I am now on my own in Mimi and Alec's old house. Just me and George, their cat. He is incredibly people-friendly and spends a lot of time on my lap, when I Iet him.
And he likes sleeping on my clothes.
