The builder provided many perks to Alec and Mimi. One of them was the complimentary use of a moving van. Mimi hired a moving company crew of four men to fill the first load. They were terrific.
The movers loaded and unloaded. Alec and Mimi had each item marked with the destination room in the new house. It all went very smoothly.
In the afternoon, a group of friends came over and put a second load into the truck. They then helped unload it at the new house. Thank god for friends!
