Today was the day that Alec and Mimi took possession of their new house. There is still lots left to do by the builder, but complete enough to move in.
The temporary sidewalk racks took a little getting used to, but they will do in the short term. There is also no driveway yet, but it will be poured next week.
For me, this was the beginning of some hard work to build a future suite in the walkout basement. In a couple of days, Alec and I will get at it.
