Stuck in an elevator during a power outage.

The power went out in our building just as Lee was using the elevator to come up to the second floor. Soon, the power was back on, but his elevator would not move. He could hear the other elevator working just fine. After almost an hour, Lez told the office people one of the elevators was not working (they had no idea) and that Lee was stuck in there. Soon after, Otis was over to open the door and fix the problem.

In 74 years, that was the first time Lee had ever been stuck in an elevator.

The day ended on a good note as we watched the Oil Kings win yet another game, 5-1 over the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Well, our lives are certainly not boring. Today, Lee was stuck in an elevator in our apartment building. I'll leave that story for him to share. Meanwhile the sewing machine is humming as I work on the quilt of many colored squares.
