Planning, celebrating, building

Alec turned 35 years old today. Where have the years gone.

We are busy today planning our trip to the Netherlands and building the web pages for the last week while we were in southern Saskatchewan.

Lez is busy in her craft room playing with spools of thread.

LOL, yes I have lots of spools of thread in a multitude of colours - but that is a requirement for all quilters (Grin). Some spools 300 yards, yes yards or, to clarify for today's labels 274m. Some spools are a polyester, some cotton, some Sulky-polyester, some have a layered metallic thread wrapping a Rayon thicker thread thay gives a sparkle to the quilt. There are 18 spools of various shades of Red. I am anxious to settle at the mid-arm quilting machine.

I am looking forward to more ideas to depict the Netherlands in fabric.
