Celebrating a win with a new jersey.

Our Edmonton Oil Kings put on a scoring display this afternoon as they defeated the Red Deer Rebels 8-2. Jerome Iginla's son, Joe Iginla, scored a hat trick.

After the game, Lez suggested I get a new jersey, that being the royal blue third jersey. It looks pretty cool.

It feels good to be back in the arena - the hockey arena, catching up with a couple hockey fans we sit beside. The Junior level of hockey is very affordable and is very good hockey. We have watched that league for years, and have watched a few of the players make it to the "big time". I really enjoy watching hockey. LOL and not just for the popcorn.

Lee's birthday present "jumped out at us" LOL as we walked past the merchandise display. I have a crested and autographed jersey I wear. I'm sure there will be a favourite hockey player whose signature will embellish his jersey one day.
