We headed out around noon to survey the bomb cyclone outcome. It was quite evident in Parksville Park as well as in the gutters of most streets. It even uprooted a tree in the park.
At French Creek we witnessed an unusual phenomena, a rainbow under a cloudy sky. No sun to be seen. Most unusual.
Family members joined us for a great time at the old Rod and Gun bar in downtown for supper.
It was a very sad sight to see all the branches lining the sides of the roads. Mother Nature is incredibly powerful. The tree was uprooted will not survive for long. We cannot just dig a new hole and plant it.
We ended our day with a great visit and food at the Rod and Gun.
