Rogers Pass is already snow covered.

We have traditionally avoided the Trans Canada highway because of its twisty turny roads with very little double divided parts. They are working hard to fix a number of those issues. There are now a number of passing lanes and in a section west of Golden they eliminated many kilometers of twisty road with one high bridge.

We never grew up with warnings for 'water pooling' but it sure exists. Hydroplaning is not much fun.

The weather got nicer and nicer the further west we travelled. Even the Coquihalla Highway was clear and quiet.

We ended the day in a motel in Hope, BC.

The bits of snow didn't hinder our travels today even though there were a few wet spots.
