Sorry, your RV does not fit through the drive-thru     [Sep 15, 2024]

Wandering along the Parksville Beach shore.

Worel apartment, Parksville BC

We had to refresh the sugar water in the hummingbird feeder today. But, the refreshed unit became a huge draw for some wasps, so we have put it away for now.

I just had to take a photo of the drive-thru at the McDonalds that is being totally renovated. The workers have put a fifth wheel in the drive thru for convenience. From a distance, it looks like someone tried to pull an RV through the drive-thru, and also in the wrong direction. In our RV travels we never tried that stunt.

Mid-afternoon grandma suddently took a turn for the worse. We called 911 and the paramedics took her to Nanaimo General Hospital.

After supper we drove down to and wandered along the Parksville Park walkway. There was a big, full moon out in a cloudless sky and lots of people enjoying the last of the day's sunlight.

LOL, the hummingbird feeder was a hit - for the wasps. Pesky little critters. A small reminder of the chunk of flesh one of those little guys took from me at the acreage. Fortunately no long lasting reactions.

I spent a lot of time sitting with my mom in her bedroom and she was shaking uncontrollably. She wasn't breathing well, so we called 911 and an ambulance quickly arrived. She was wisked off to the Nanaimo General where they were able to stablize her and she was able to settle down. It is such a helples feeling at that point, so thankful for the quick, efficient and calming paramedics.

There was a full lunar eclipse this evening, but "the show" was very disappointing. Did see a big moon though.
