Remembering Milow Worel.

Worel apartment, Parksville BC

We toasted Gramps at breakfast today; he would have turned 98 years of age today.

The Fall Market at Knox Church is a big event, held only once a year. There were few place to park, even with our recently acquired small car. And the place was hopping. Every room in the church was packed with items.

We managed to say hello to Jan for a moment; she was very busy working as a cashier at one of the tables.

This evening we attended our second and last Oceanside Generals home game. The boys were extremely outshot but held Nanaimo to a 1-0 lead right to the end of the game. A loss, but an entertaining game.

A little toast to dad Worel - as this was his birthday.

Today we checked out the local Fall Market at a local church. Mom' s friend, Jan Reinson, was looking after one of the booths. Mom's walking is very painful to watch, and difficult for her. For that reason, there is no way, without a wheelchair, that mom could have joined us at the Fall Market. Mom would probably argue about using a wheelchair (and not use it until she was truly exhausted.).
