We were up early, had breakfast, and were gone by 8:30.

The traffic was very light, probably because it was Labour Day today. We saw a lot of cars passing us with BC plates (going home) and a lot of RVs going the other way (going home).

The results of the wild fire at Jasper were sad to see. The intersection of Highway 16 and 93 is totally burnt out. We stopped for a stretch at Mount Robson and lo and behold, the mountain had no clouds at the top. Quite rare for us to see. Reached Kamloops around 5pm local time, got a pizza and wine, and settled in for the evening.

On the road again - LOL. Yes, more adventures. We wanted to get a head start on what could be a busy highway. Fortunately, we had no issues. It is very sad to see the forest of black sticks. We will be sharing several photos once we settle down again. Tiggy, the Tiguan is a VERY comfortable vehicle and handles nicely. At a rest stop, another traveller and I got chatting and then went our ways. As we arrived at our motel, yes, she was in the process of checking in too. Like two buttereflies!

A pizza dinner, some wine and we may just call it a night. We have more travelling to do.
