We did up laundry today to prepare for our departure tomorrow to Parksville.

It was nice to sleep in our own bed, albeit for one night only.

We had brunch to celebrate Mimi's 35th birthday, with all six of us there. Good time.

We had picked up the remaining inventory of Dad Worel's northern Saskatchewan canoe trip slides from Lez's sister Mary. She had indicated it would be difficult for her to scan them because there are so many. Lee took them off her hands while we were visiting her. It looks like quite the project for this winter; it seems there are well over 10,000 slides in the collection.

Boring - but yes, even travellers need to do laundry, and shower LOL.

A great luncheon with the Edmonton Zwaal clan celebrated Mimi's birthday in style.

With a good night's sleep t o prep us for a travel day, we bid adieu.
