We said goodbye to the Reesor Ranch and headed west through the Cypress Hills and then south and west to more ranching country.
We stopped by to see Red Rock Coulee south of Medicine Hat. The geology is fascinating. Sandstone excretions were formed millions of years ago and surrounding sand has since been worn away. What is left are those sandstone excretions that resemble red balls. Or as Lee described them, dinosaur poop.
After checking into the hotel we went for a visit with Gord and Elaine Rice. Gord was best man at our wedding. They have lived in Medicine Hat for over forty years. The reminiscing took us well into the evening.
After our Reesor Ranch hospitality, we drove on to long-standing friends in Medicine Hat. Gord was our best man at our wedding. We dined at their place and conversation with Gord and Elaine was non-stop.
