What a lazy day

After checking out of the hotel we stoppped by to see Larry Easton and his wife Dorothy. Larry is a well-known Saskatchewan photographer and canoed with dad Worel a few times. We traded stories about dad, elevators and other interesting topics. We will share photos of dad's canoe trips over the coming months and years.

We then drove to Katepwa Village and the resort where Piet and Marg have their RV. It is a park model with lots of room and two bedrooms.

The Easton's are long-standing friends of my parents. I do not recall actually meeting Dorothy before, but once we started chatting, there was no stop. We seem to have a lot in common, and the time flew.

We headed to Marg and Piet's RV and settled in, and catching up with our adventures to date. We spent the night as planned, in their spare bedroom, which was very comfy.
