The Canada Geese were on final over the stage.

Holiday Inn Express, Regina SK

It was day 1 of our third Shake the Lake festival in Regina. We watched Streetheart for the 42nd time and they were great. Brent Fitz joined them on drums for this gig as did Blair de Pape on bass.

We also watched The Sweet for the third time. Their vocalist Patrick Stone once again ventured into the crowd. An amazing crowd pleasing band.

We also saw Alfie Zappacosta and Glass Tiger.

We couldn't have asked for better weather. Our lawn chairs were comfy and gave us a good view of the stage. We, of course did not stay seated when Streetheart hit the stage, but got as close as we could to the stage. Standing for such a long time was hard on 'the old bod' but was worth it. Glass Tiger was a treat, as I think saw them way back, in Regina. Memory isn't quite what it used to be.
