A visit with cousins.

We hadn't seen the Gibsons and Loders for a couple of years so it was nice to catch up.

We started our day making one of our longstanding food dishes to take to Lynda and Terry's - a Hot Spinach Dip. Off to pick up an Italian loaf. We hit the Italian Bakery and it was very hard not to pick up several other items that we know to be very delicious. Back home, the loaf was hollowed out, keeping the soft bread inside in bite sizes that would be later served with the super spinach dip filling the hollow bowl. The great thing about the loaf is that you can make it ahead of time and freeze it and then bake it. And it makes a great lunch the next day IF there are leftovers.
