First real country drive with our new Tiggy.
We were invited out to the Glebe acreage north of Westlock today. It was also our first real country drive with the VW Tiguan that Aaron had found for us.
Lori and Vernon are great hosts. We shared stories of their and our travelling adventures over the last couple of years. The weather was great out on their back deck.
Tiggy is certainly comfortable to drive. A fuel fill-up after getting home revealed that Tiggy gets way better gas mileage than Chuck, which was expected.
Our new vehicle, a Tiguan, has replaced our pickup truck Chuck which is what we have been driving these past 4 years hauling the Schooner (the RV) behind. Quite the change as it is lower than a pickup, and it does change perspective ahead in traffic. However, the comforts are there and we have taken very little time to adjust. Tiggy has settled into the Zwaal's life quite nicely.
