Back after 332 days.

Lee calculates that we have been away from Alberta for 332 days, returning via the Yellowhead today.
As we drove down the Banff Jasper Highway, the weather continued to get worse. Once on Highway 11 to Rocky Mountain House the rain got heavier, including as we passed the Thompson Creek campground that we had first though of staying at. Nope. We headed to Rocky and were setting up in their Centennial campground in pleasant, dry weather.
Not a very level site. After disconnecting Chuck, Lee had to raise the front of the Schooner significantly. We are sleeping well above the ground, which is safe but disconcerting.
I was surprised, but shouldn't have been at the number of days we have been out of Alberta. Looking back at the blog, we've been busy on our travels! And so many stories and so many wonderful and interesting people and places.
We settled into a campground where the site is not even, and levelling has been a challenge that we are not going to be able to fix. We are rocking a little as we walk thru the RV. Now that we are settled in this pleasant dry weather, it has started to rain. The forecast is for 90% showers overnight (it is raining now at 10 pm) and tomorrow is promising 90% chance of scattered thunderstorms. Do we hunker down or do we drive on, that will be the question for tomorrow morning.
