Lee notes that it was overcast as we woke up and there was a smell of smoke in the air. Without an end point in mind, we decided to drive south on the Yellowhead Highway towards Tete Jeune Cache and then make a decision on how much further to go. Lunch in McBride answered that question and, given the continuing rainfall, we decided to go to Valemount and stay in a familiar RV Park.

Lee hooked up in the rain, but pretty soon the sun came out. I guess we planned this right.

A travel day to find a location out of the smoky air. The rain helped clear it off, but as we ended the day, the air was still hazy. It was truly an unremarkable day.
