Everyone knows everyone in Stewart.

So our shore power went out at 8:00 am. Maybe a hint for us to pack up and leave We did.
The drive up highway 37A is amazing (albeit a bit rough in spots). We stopped to photo a large glacier and saw a couple more on the way. At Stewart, we got into the RV park right away and then went to town for some groceries. And what a town it is. More to come on this when we poke around more slowly in the coming days.
Ahh, we have internet and cell service.
Oh to be connected to the rest of the world again! The number of times I went to send a text or an email and realized I have no cell service! Our Wi-Fi hotspot is our cell phone!
The views are spectacular with a clear blue sky backdrop and white-topped mountains around. Sadly, I haven't found a quilt shop. Sigh. Oh I don't need any fabric, but it's always great to see what's out there. Stewart has the Co-op that isn't lacking much for supplies. We will be quite fine out here.
The views are enough to entice us to check out the region withough pulling the Schooner. For now, we are catching up and ensuring family and friends we are well and still rolling down the highway and snapping pictures that now need to be uploaded to share. Mosquitoes not withstanding.
The Man is making his signature chicken pasta meal - one you enjoy twice. First the aroma of stirfry onions, garlic, shallots - oh so intiving. And then the meal itself.
