Shady Rest RV Park, Houston BC (2 stars)

Lee finds this a lazy day, driving back to the Yellowhead and then heading west on Highway 16. It's very quiet country where most people appear to live a simple and cluttered lifestyle.

We settle in at Shady Rest outside of Houston and are immediately greeted by Sam, the owner's dog.

Our Parks Canada passes expire tomorrow. It's hard to believe we have seen so much of the west - and yet here is the blog to confirm where we have been. So many more places to visit and Lee is preparing our next big adventure to Haida Gwaii.
